What to expect from your first visit
Your first visit will be approximately 1 1/2 hours. A thorough health history will be taken. Your pulses will be taken, tongue observed and abdomen palpated.

Your acupuncturist will initiate a treatment plan specific to your needs. This plan may include moxabustion, cupping and/or needles. Before any of these techniques are used your acupuncturist will explain each one to you.

Please make sure you are not hungry when you come to your acupuncture appointment and arrive 15 minutes early to fill out paperwork.
Does it hurt?
The insertion of the acupuncture needle is often painless, however some patients report feeling a slight poke during insertion. After the needles are in you may experience and achy sensation, tingling feeling and/or a feeling of warmth At Full Circle Wellness Center, Rachael Rose uses a gentle Japanese style treatment for patient comfort.
How soon will I get results?
Hopefully after your first visit you have have some relief from your symptoms, however it can take up to 3 visits to get results. Depending on how long you have had an issue will determine how often and how long you will need to have satisfactory results. A good rule of thumb is for every year you have had a problem, it will take 1 month of regular acupuncture to obtain long lasting relief.
Cost
We prefer cash or check, but we also accept credit cards. We do not bill insurance but are a provider for certain insurance companies. At your visit we will provide you with a bill to submit to your carrier for reimbursement
